Update on #3

So, here it is 10 months after I started this blog.
We tried for a year, timing everything, doing everything perfect, taking ovulation tests that came up positive, but with negative pregnancy tests 2 weeks later. Finally it was time to go to my yearly woman's exam, and my doc found a GRAPEFRUIT-SIZED fibroid taking over my entire uterus.
But how? I'm a scrawny little thing. How the hell did something that big grow inside me without anyone noticing? Well, it just shoved everything else out of the way. I just looked a little bloated, and I didn't even notice it until I felt like I had a bladder infection. I thought my bladder was swollen because I can't stand drinking water. NOPE! It was a fibroid.

So, December 6, 2016, I had surgery to remove it. The surgery was basically a c-section, with the exact incision and healing process.

The doctor said to give myself 3 months to heal before we started trying again, and that day has finally come. She warned us that I will have to have a c-section if we do get pregnant, and they'll do it a week before I'm full-term, so it doesn't stress my uterus too much.

Today is the first day in my fertile window. So wish us luck!
